Panicking about ovulation

Hi all,

I've been tracking my cycles since coming off the pill in July, and have always ovulated on day 14. Last month i ovulated early and had a very short cycle, with a 10 day luteal phase. This time I am now on CD13 and have no signs at all of ovulation yet. My OPKs are all completely negative and my cervix is hard and low. I did have a bit of EWCM a few days ago but it now seems creamy and white. Is it possible I won't ovulate this cycle due to my shorter cycle last time? Feeling dejected about this as have always thought my cycles are odd.!

Thanks for your help!

This is the first month I have been TTC and just find myself endlessly worrying

Honestly? It's your first month and you need to just relax and enjoy having sex. This could take a long time to happen for you and if you're this wound up already then you'll have a nervous breakdown before long

Thanks @kitk. I've always had terrible anxiety so it's probably just affecting this too. Il try to relax.

Woah, you need to take a breath. This process might take a very long time and you won't be able to keep up this sort of intensity without losing your mind!

Thanks @BHouse19. I have OCD so I imagine it's latching on to this. I will definitely try to relax!

I have mega anxiety too. But it's month 1

@flozz I was the same at the beginning, for me it wasn't a care of missing out on a cycle or being TRC cycle 1 it was more understanding my body and my cycles and frustrating not know what was happening. Just make sure you are being honest with yourself what your stress it about as it helped me stay chilled about the TTC part of it all.

Thanks so much @27andcounting that's really nice Smile
