BFP after bleeding

I’m so confused and have no idea what to do! So...on day AF due I took a FRER and it was a faint BFP, then did a CB and got another faint BFP. 1 day after AF due I took a CB digital but got ‘not pregnant’. Then later that day I started to bleed, I assumed this was AF and had maybe had a chemical pregnancy. I had typical AF bleeding for 3 days but tested daily on cheapies to monitor the hcg levels and I am still getting BFPs. Bleeding is now just spotting. I took a CB weeks indicator yesterday and today and both say ‘pregnant 1-2 weeks‘. So technically I would be around 4 weeks now but just don’t know what to do what with the bleeding in between? So confused, any advice or similar experiences would be great please

Go epu. Lots of people bleed in early pregnancy and baby is healthy.

@healthypositivity thanks for the reply. I wasn’t sure if GP referral was needed and can’t get a GP appt for weeks at my surgery. I will get hold of my local EPU tomorrow

Most EPU don't let you self refer as you are effectively asking for a reassurance scan and at this point in your pregnancy nothing is visible on a scan and there is literally nothing they can do if you are miscarrying

Continue to test every few days and see if the tests get darker

Some bleeding around when your period is due is normal

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted thanks, I will keep testing. They seem to be getting no darker or fainter over the last 5 days since getting BFP.

Could be implantation bleeding?

Hi @PixieDustt EPU have been monitoring my bloods and did early scan but could not locate pregnancy. As my HCG is slowly rising but progesterone is too low for viable pregnancy, they are now suspecting likely ectopic they can’t scan me til Monday so have been told to carry my scan letter around in case of rupture and to go in Monday for scan and to discuss treatment options. It’s been such a rollercoaster, thanks for checking in
