Implanon removal!

I had my contraceptive implant removed today! Woop! I'm so excited to try for our own bubba and needed to share my excitement with SOMEBODY!!

I don't want to tell my friends/family as I don't want the pressure of them asking Incase it takes a while to get pregnant! My mam knows we are stopping contraception soon though.

Can anyone share their stories regarding getting pregnant after being on the implant?

I had a dc 9 months and 10 days after implant removal...
No period first.

Hey @elliemayf I had nexplanon out 2 weeks ago and my OPK shows I'm ovulating today! Its hard not being able to speak to friends about it isn't it!

@Winterdaysarehere oh wow! My period has been pretty much absent on the implant so I think it might take a while for me to get back into normal cycles!

@Loubell19 yeah it's really hard! I'm a blabber mouth and tell my friends everything so it's going to be super tough, and even if I do get pregnant, then having to keep it secret again for weeks will eat me up inside!
At least I always have strangers to share with haha!

It was a shocker! Even more so as scans said a dd.
It was a ds!!
And dna hadn't scrimped on that area!! Dunno how it was missed!!

@Winterdaysarehere haha oh no!!! Had you/loved ones bought a lot of pink stuff and decided on a girls name?

When my little brother was born, the hospital had ran out of blue little hats on the ward so gave him a pink one, everyone that came to visit thought he was a girl!

I would dare tell you how much I had spent.

And a name chosen!!
Dd was gutted at db number 6....

I got pregnant pretty much 6 months to the day after my implant was removed, had one 'normal' period at 5 months then that cycle worked.

@Winterdaysarehere haha I don't blame your DD, I have 4 brothers myself! She might not enjoy it as much growing up but I wouldn't be without my brothers now!! Always got my back!

@stormtrooperjulian did you have periods during your time on the implanon? Mine have varied A LOT!
