How long did it take you to conceive with your second?

Me and my OH are going to start trying for our second child in the new year. It took me 16 months to fall pregnant with my first (aged 25). I know everyone is different but I am just intrigued to know how long it took you to conceive your first and then how long it took to conceive your second? I am expecting it to take roughly the same amount of time it did to conceive my first second time around but would obviously like the wait to not be as long.

First took 8 months. Second... I'll get back to you hopefully (just started my period in our 12th month of TTC)

I have had two children, I am very lucky, I fell pregnant the first month with both of them.

Literally one time, first time unprotected after DD1, it had taken 9 months with DD1 to conceive so we thought we had better get cracking. DH was going away for a month so we had a going away shag and that was it, there’s 18 months between them.

First month. First baby took much longer but we got lucky second time.

First time with my first and 5 months with my second after a late miscarriage and having to have a d&c x

Child 1 = 11 cycles (was 37 when ttc)
Child 2 = 7 cycles (was 40).

I was quicker. It was my second cycle with my first and my first cycle with my second. Appreciate i am in the minority

First was on second cycle.
Second time around I conceived on the first cycle I was fully fertile (had been breastfeeding) but miscarried. Conceived again on the first cycle of trying and went to term.

6 months with first (at 23/24) and 9 months with second (at 27/28)

My first was conceived the first month of trying when I was 25. I started trying to conceive again when I was 35 and she was finally born when I was 41 and had given up hope

DC1 - 1 full cycle (6 weeks from starting TTC to bfp), age 37.
DC2 - 1 full cycle (4 weeks), age 40.

2ish years for first, (late 20s) 4ish years for second (early 30s)
