After implant removal

Hi. I had my implant out at the end of March and had a couple of AFs in the beginning. According to my Ovia it's been 103 days since my last AF.

Did anyone experience this as I always thought everything goes back to normally fairly quickly?

Would it be worth a Dr visit, not sure if there is much they could/would do.

Thanks :)

Hi OP. My story is a little different to yours.

I had implant out end of Sept, withdrawal bleed 4 days later. Period 23 days after that and then I have had 2 other 23/24 day cycles. I ovulate around CD14 but my luteal phase is very short, around 8 days. So no luck conceiving.

I know it's a different situation to you but it just goes to show everyone is different. I only had my implant in 11 months. Have you been tracking ovulation? 103 days is a long time to wait if you did have periods after removal to begin with.

No not really been tracking yet. I was planning on waiting a few months just to settle my periods but now they've seemed to have stopped all together. I had one out after 3 years and went back to normal. This time hasn't.

My periods were normal before, I don't think I've ever gone this long without. I guess it's just frustrating as all you read is everything goes back to normal when removed. Weird how our bodies work eh. Guess I'm just a bit concerned that I haven't had one in so long.

I've been reading up a lot and it seems it's not just us but crazy how it goes straight back to normal for some and not others.

I'm at drs tonight about ear infection so I may just mention it xx

I would 1000% mention. Just say you had normal periods for a while then it stopped. Even if it means telling a little porkie or exaggeration otherwise sometimes they don't take us seriously
