Morning everyone,

Wondering if anyone can help. I stopped having the depo injection 12 months give or take and this month is the only month I've had a late period. 3 days my period was delayed so I was pretty excited and hopeful however this morning my period came Sad

I'm wondering if anyone has any of you lovely lot have stories or used the depo before conception. If so how long did it take to get pregnant? I was told that the depo takes 6-12 months to leave a woman's body. It's very frustrating however as I've seen online other posts that say Depo take 12-15 months to leave your body! Any stories etc would be much appreciated x

Good morning
first time I took the depo for about 8 years on and off. Took me 2 years to conceive, but I must add that I wasn't actively trying TTC. It also took little under two years for my periods to return.
I just came off the depo again in June , I am still waiting for my periods to come. Last time I had a period was march of this year.
It's frustrating especially if you are ready to start TTC. I wouldn't say I am actively TTC, it's the last thing on my mind, but if it happens I would be happy still.
I had some signs this morning that would make me think it's very possible AF might finally appear.
Good luck
