So today I'm 3 days late so decided to take a test after finishing work, the first test I did was positive but very faint! I've taken 2 more and both are negative Confused I am going to wait until the morning to do another test and maybe buy a more expensive test as I just grabbed a cheap kit today! Has anyone else found this?

Likely a chemical pregnancy Flowers

I'm sorry I haven't anything positive to add but this has happened to me. It was unfortunately a mc. I'll keep everything crossed that you have a better outcome Flowers

With only being 3 days late it is possible you hadn't held your urine long enough for the hormones to build up enouth to be detected. But unfortunately like pps I have had a negative after a positive and it has been a chemical pregnancy.

Wish you all the best for your test in the morning.

With my chemical pregnancies I had faint lines for 4-5 days then got my negatives. Maybe your urine was just diluted

All the tests I have taken have been this evening as I said the first was positive and the other 2 negative would this happen with a chemical pregnancy? X

That makes me rethink then as its only early days & you took them all in 1 its possible there your urine was too diluted

I wouldnt try again tomorrow, try and wait until Thursday morning, your hcg levels double every 48 hours or so id try to wait until then as your test will be stronger if all is well

Good luck
