Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

Does anyone else convince they are pregnant when they know it’s going to be negative?!

My DH and I have been TTC for 4 years now. We have unexplained fertility issues.

We are on cycle 2 of 2 of gonal f injections with timed intercourse.

I am currently 9DPO, CD27 and my period should be due on Friday.

Anyway, every single cycle, I convince myself I have all of these pregnancy symptoms, when I know deep down they are in my head, or could be caused by the gonal f, trigger shot, ovulation or just AF in general.

So, I have quite substantial CM for several days after ovulation, I had few second waves of mild nausea much of the afternoon, I’ve had groin cramps since ovulation, had shooting pains in my cervix area on 7DPO.

Most notably, I haven’t my usual type of intense period cramps 1 week before AF is due and my very very sore boobs during that time too.

Ahhhh. It’s probably nothing!

I want to test tomorrow (10DPO), but am worried the trigger shot will still be in my system. It was all out of my system last cycle by 5DPO last cycle though.

Does anyone else ever feel like they are imagining symptoms but knows deep down they’re not pregnant?

I managed to convince myself I was after the first time DTD. This whole TTC thing is not good for the old mental health!
