Hello everyone

My partner and I are trying for our first baby. We have been trying for 6 months and I've been keeping track of ovulation by taking tests and using the Ovia app.

This month I was due to ovulate on Tuesday however felt my usual aches and pains down below on Sunday so I knew I was ovulating so I took a test and I was right. So I usually carry on taking a test until the test line become negative. This month that never happened and now looks like I've ovulated more than once! Has this ever happened to anyone before?

Sunday evening - Positive
Monday morning - Positive
Monday evening - Negative (DTD that night)
Tuesday morning - Negative
Tuesday evening - Negative
Wednesday morning - Positive
Wednesday evening - Negative
Thursday morning - Positive
Thursday evening - Positive (hoping you DTD tonight 🙈)

Really hoping someone has had a similar situation happen to them before and able to point me in the right direction as to why this has happened! Thanks you xx

Hi, so I checked my copy of taking charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler - it’s a great book which I highly recommend.
And she says not. It could have been your body attempting to ovulate - I have had this with the accompanying more fertile mucus signs. Or maybe a multiple ovulation- see the next question underneath
