AF arrived 2 days ago so I will probably be testing around 21st December (cycles are about 24 days)

Hello, could I please join you? My periods have been all over the place and I am pretty sure I am not ovulating but I would love some company/support.

My poor DH is fed up with me constantly talking about what could be wrong but it is all I can think about. I am using opks this month but waiting for fertility tests in the new year. I have been feeling off in the last week or so and have symptoms similar to when I had an ovarian cyst rupture.

Hi all, I would like to join. This is our first month of TTC. I came off the combined pill at the start of November. So we are just seeing what happens.
AF is due 21st December, but I suspect it might not come due to coming off the pill.
Been feeling super weird this week with mild cramps and lower back pain and headaches. So I think I've ovulated but not 100% sure. I think I'm CD12 today.
I'm totally new to this and have no idea what I'm doing.

@herondaleducks you’re similar to me I came off the pill on 18th November at the start of a bleed Which I had semi regularly on the mini pill. Have you had your AF since coming off at start of November?

I’m on CD 17 so I am in the TWW, it’s excruciating! Don’t know what’s going to happen because I’ve not had a true AF after coming off the pill so hoping for the best and seeing what happens til AF! X

Yes, I had a 4 day AF from 23rd to 26th Nov. It felt lighter than normal so I suspected it was still a fake AF from the pill.
I have no idea what's going to happen either, I'm trying not to think about it too much as I strongly suspect nothing will happen this month. But fingers crossed for the both of us!

@HerondaleDucks yeah I'm trying not to get my hopes up this cycle and just going through the motions best I can. Fingers and toes are crossed though for us both and everybody else hoping for that BFP this month xxx

@HerondaleDucks I came off the combined pill at the end of August and my first 2 AF after were lighter than normal too. They should go back to normal pretty quick though so keep your fingers crossed🤞

I peed on an ovulation stick this morning and it was positive. We've been having sex every day this week so fingers crossed it works. It is good to know my body is back to normal working order after our miscarriage xxx

@Pwd1 I'm due on 18th as well! Hoping Christmas build up will be welcome distraction. Are you planning on drinking during tww?

I have some ewcm! Sorry I know it's TMI but this is the first time I have noticed any in around 2 years. Trying not to get my hopes up but I feel like it is something even though the opk was negative just before lunch time.

My partner and I are actively trying but without discussing it as 'we need to have sex today!' Kind of thing. Just at it as much as possible!

Oh, I’m getting so impatient for ovulation now! No sign of EWCM yet, so I think I’ve still got at least a few days, maybe a week if I ovulate the same as last cycle.

@SonjaMorgan I usually get EWCM a day or 2 before a positive OPK, so fingers crossed! Last cycle I had EWCM cd 11-15, a positive OPK on cd 15&16, and according to temperatures it was cd16 that I actually ovulated. So get busy!

For those that have been ttc a while..... how do you get some spontenaity into it? Tonight will be a “dtd night”. Feels like we’ve totally lost the romance. It’s still fun and all, but in all honesty towards the end it feels like a job to do and I’m sure DH feels under pressure sometimes.

Can I join? AF due 22nd, due to ovulate today/tomorrow...desperately hoping for as late as possible as OH away tonight. Still flashing on CB advanced OPK so fingers crossed!

@Mystie I'm hoping so too, it's such a busy time so I'm hoping itll make the tww bearable. I think I'll have a few but I wont be drinking a great deal. Maybe 1 or 2 over a weekend unless I have very strong symptoms. Are you planning to? Or avoiding it altogether?

I genuinely don't know how so many of you do this waiting every month. Hats on to you all. I'm convinced that every boob tingle means I'm pregnant.

I've definitely ovulated so now.....we wait!

My period is due the 20th December but I'm going to attempt to wait until christmas day to test if it doesn't arrive.....then surprise my partner with the positive test

@debbs77 the tww is awful. I try not to but always seem to find myself symptom spotting.

Morning All! I had my temp spike to confirm ovulation today so officially in the 2ww. Doing SMEP so have done our 3 days of sex in a row, day off today then one more go Tomorrow. Exhausting!! Due af on 18th/19th Dec and WILL NOT test early! Had serious symptoms last month and could have sworn I was preggers but nada!
I have been feeling cautious about drinking in the 2ww but I think so long as you don't go crazy its fine, baby doesn't take anything from you until 6 weeks anyway so can't do any harm and it will probably actually relax you. Definitely planning on having a couple at the pub tonight :)

I have been thinking about drinking as well. I thought a glass or two of wine at the xmas party tomorrow won't hurt.
I did have a funny thought at the gym yesterday morning whether all the jumping around helped the sperm get to the right places and it made me laugh aloud. So I probably looked like a nutcase 😂

I think as long as it's not excessive and you dont go crazy then it should be fine.
@TunnocksTcake I didnt realise it was 6 weeks, not sure why but I always thought it was sooner than that. Though thinking about it that does make sense actually

@Pwd1 I'm definitely drinking in the next two weeks! Last month I was so healthy and didn't drink and convinced myself I was pregnant and then felt even worse when I got a BFN. At least this way if it doesn't happen I won't have missed out on all the festive fun! Like @TunnocksTcake said (great name btw) a few drinks won't affect anything and will defo help the time pass by quicker by relaxing and having fun! AF due 18/19 so am defo waiting until at least then before testing. Last month I started tested at 7dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

If I do ovulate I won't be drinking in the two week wait. I am far too hard on myself and if I had a miscarriage (even though I know it wouldn't be related) I would take it badly.
