Hi everyone!

I came off my pill 4 weeks ago today, to TTC. I had a really rough first couple of weeks off the pill with sore breasts, headaches and fatigue.

Then I had a week where I was relatively ok. This week however, has been awful again....I had some slight pinching pain and aches on my left side on saturday, and have been totally exhausted!!! Like, need to sleep 12 hours a night kind of exhausted! Since tuesday this week, I've been being sick every morning and night, and even feeling really nauseous when I haven't eaten for ages.

It's got to a point where I went to see a doctor this morning. She thinks either my period is on it's way (and I'm going to be really ill with it), or I'm pregnant and it's too early to show up.

I did HPT 3 days ago and it was negative.

I'm not 100% sure, but I wonder if the pinching pain on Saturday was ovulation...so I might be 5dpo.

Has anyone else experienced this or anything similar? I've been signed off work because I cant function, and i just feel so pathetic!!!

The problem is 1st days of pregnancy and period symptoms are more or less the same. Therefore, it's a waiting game. If you reckon you might be 5dpo then take a pregnancy test in 8days. Or you'll get on this forum is people saying they got the same symptoms and where pregnant and the other 50% saying they had those symptoms and period followed a week later.

FWIW I had a very similar experience and took another test a couple of days after I started vomiting - BFP.

Despite having got a negative 3 days before
