Trying to Conceive

Hi - I am new to mumsnet.

I just wanted to get some advice. I have been TTC for the last 4 months with no luck as of yet, I know it's not a long time but I have a few concerns that are playing on my mind all of which may be nothing.

I usually get spotting 2-3 days before my full period comes, mostly brown in colour. I have been getting reflexology and she had said that may be a sign of a hormone inbalance which concerns me.

Years ago, back when I was younger, I had contracted an STI chlamydia from a previous partner. I was treated with antibiotics and had several follow up checks as I was very worried this would affect my fertility or cause PID but all were clear and I have never had an symptoms to suggest any issues and always kept up to date with STI checks.

In recent years, I would sometimes have pelvic pressure coming up to my period and I went private to get an internal ultrasound to check if anything is wrong. The gyny had said everything looked fine. The pelvic pain comes and goes, I don't have it every cycle and it's not severe more like a slight pressure.

I guess I am starting to get a little concerned now that I am married and TTC and nothing is happening. Since having chylamydia when I was younger (18) I always had a lingering concern about fertility even though I acted very quickly. Is it possible that the STI had already caused PID and this is causing blocked tubes or am I being paranoid?

Other than the above, I have normal periods and cycle lengths (30 days approx), no pain during sex or bleeding throughout my cycle. I am 29 years old.

Thank you so much for any advice, it is much appreciated.
