I can't stop testing!

I'm nearing the end of my 4th cycle of trying to conceive after 12 years on the pill. I'm 13 DPO and according to apps AF might arrive on 29th/30th November.
Still BFNs every day so I keep telling myself to wait until I've missed my period but I just can't help myself lol

Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm 31 and TTC my first so I'm worried I've left it too late

Hi @Cheetos I'm on cycle 3 of TTC just turned 33. I'm obsessed with opks and the first two cycles I wasted so much money on pregnancy tests.
Totally get how you're feeling. I'm due AF next week but decided not to buy any tests yet and try to wait and see if AF shows up.
It's so hard isn't it?? I'm on CD18 and still not had a positive opk but trying to tell myself it's ok, it will show up or I've just missed my surge
I can only say try and hold off and if you don't get your BFP this time (I really hope you do) don't buy anymore tests. That's the only way I could stop myself. Everything crossed for you x

At 31, it's VERY unlikely you've left it too late! Just don't buy the tests, don't have them sitting in the house, wait for your period to be at least a few days late. Testing won't change anything, just stress you out. I've only bought 2 pregnancy tests in my life, both positives with my period 5 days late. And I conceived first at 37 and now again at 40. Try to relax

@Cheetos I'm 30 TTC #1 and I totally get that left it too late feeling - even though I totally get that it's crazy to think that. I'm trying to avoid tests this cycle as the BFNs are awful - especially when you don't trust they're actually negative until AF arrives.

Not long to wait now to see if AF arrives :)

@lifesnotaspectatorsport thank you! Wow only 2 in your life? Thats amazing. I will try and hold off a bit on the testing but I get too excited and hopeful lol. Thanks for giving me a bit of confidence x

@Quiffy it's hard, isn't it? I know I'm being slightly irrational but I have this huge fear that we've been careful for so long - not wanting to have a child until we're in the right situation (even though it never is the right situation) - that now I'm ttc I'm going to find out I can't have kids. It is just a fear though so fingers crossed x
