Hi all,

I am quite new to all this but wondering if theres anyone in the same boat as me out there!

I came off cerezette around the 20th september, had a withdrawal bleed on the 24th until 28th September, then went 60 days without a period! During that time I took countless ovulation tests (didnt see a peak) and then endless pregnancy tests following that Hmm

I finally got the first proper period 5 days ago, now finished and hoping this month will be the month!

Did anyone else have a really long wait between withdrawal bleed till first period??

Hi Grin I had a long wait too till my normal period. I’ve been trying a year now and nothing. Good luck to you x

Hey @KerryTTC, I came off cerezette in July 18 and didn’t get a withdrawal bleed, I had nothing for 6 weeks then came on. I’ve had long cycles since then and then recently I had a 26 day cycle and a 5 day bleed. Currently on CD48 since then and BFN’s!

Not sure if I ovulated late and had implantation bleeding on Monday morning though as I had browny CM when I wiped and I’ve had it nothing since! No sign of AF either.

Fingers crossed for you and hope your cycles go back to normal, I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about coming off cerezette!

@Thefaceofboe hi! Sorry to hear it's not been happening too quick for you! Hope you're successful soon!
@xbaxterx was that July 2018 or July 18th? 😬 were your periods regular before going onto the pill?
I dont really remember how regular mine were, but I did come off it for a while earlier this year and I think there was a long gap between the first one, but I wasnt really focusing on it. But then the following months were bang on 28 days, but ended up going back on the pill as couldn't be dealing with periods Haha.
Fingers crossed for you though! Theres no reason why you couldn't have ovulated late.are you using ovulation tests?
X

@KerryTTC July 2018! It's been a long time haha. We've not been TTC for that time though, I came off it because I wanted to sort myself out to try! We just haven't been careful.

I'm using Ovia just to track my cycles, not using sticks or anything, maybe I should Confused

KerryTTC · 27/11/2019 21:20

@xBaxterx oh phew! Thought I might be in for a long ride 😂.
I would reccomend sticks... only so you can know what's going on rather than an app predicting it, which I guess isnt soo accurate after 30 odd days of a cycle!
I used the clear blue digital ones for part of my 60 day cycle... but I never saw the static face, only flashing for about 12 days so I gave up and wrote myself off for the remainder of the 60 days. I'm tempted to buy them again but think it's probably a waste of money and getting Hope's up. So now I have a box of 60 sticks to get through, fairly cheap off amazon!
