DP and I have only just decided this month to start TTCing. My periods are very regular at 28 days but not sure if that means I definately ovulate on day 14 so (sorry if TMI )we are BDing every day - I'm CD8 today. The problem is I've just read on another thread that doing this may mean that the sperm meets the egg too early in the tube and can lead to an EP.

Anyone know how big a risk this is? TIA

I think sperm allways meets egg in the tube.

I think tbh the egg finds it own way and has no bearing on EP's or not. (but I might be wrong so will stand corrected) they recommend sex every other day for the sperm to be in tip top condition as it were. I always assumed EP's were something which didn't happen often, and were something similar to m/cs - no exact reason for them.

Yes, ovulation almost always happens in the tube.
The fertilised egg begins to divide and forms a ball of cells before it reaches the uterus. It is then ready to embed in the wall of the uterus and grow into your baby.
The chances of an EP are tiny and making love everyday certainly won't increase them.
Good luck and enjoy!!!

Yeah but I think what it meant was that the egg had no time to travel and that if met too early in the tube, if sperm waiting then it could stick in the tube I'm really showing my ignorance now

DD wasn't planned so this is the first time I've planned and am a little over zealous maybe and anxious.
