At home insemination

Due to various reasons we are looking at the at home insemination method to get pregnant.

I'm just after some advice / success stories as obviously worried it's not going to work!

If you used this route how long did it take you? Any tips? Etc.

Any advice would be massively appreciated :)

It worked for me very quickly, I was really shocked. Currently 3 months pregnant. I started a thread on here

Myself and my husband did this due to a few issues he has, using a syringe and pot and a little bit of pre seed. It took 6 months but im now 11 weeks pregnant so it deffo works

@H8624 joining this and on the same boat as you. my wife and i are attempting ici at home. we are using aid'n to inseminate. so far no luck with pregnancy but we are just starting out. did you get an online donor or are you using someone you are familiar with? we are only 1 week into the process physically but have been preparing for months. we talked with our friends who did at home insemination and they used aid'n and had success. let's keep connecting so we can see what works and play off each other.

Hi whatnext11 we are starting in the new year as had a lot going on lately! My AF is here today so will ovulate in just over a week I think!

Just looking at what I need to buy for this! Can you remember what kit you used? Any tips please? How many times did you inseminate in the successful month? If you don't mind sharing of course!

I think the best tip would be to join one if the TTC groups on the conception board, and track ovulation. Some use temping, some use the kits to tell when optimum time is. Whatever the TTC groups recommend, it's the same whether sex or insemination. I used 1ml syringes and pots and some pre seed.
