Opk getting darker after ovulation

Anyone ever experienced their opks getting darker after theyve already ovulated and the tests have returned to white? I'm 9dpo and my tests are getting darker again and have been since 7dpo, not positive but much darker than normal. I've heard an lh surge happens before af but I thought this would be in the couple days before af is due

@LoveRainbow02 this just happened to be, I’m 8 dpo today but yesterday I have a high LH reading. AF iS due in 3 days

Its frustrating not knowing. Hate the tww! I'm not due on for another 5-6 days and have been getting dark opks since Thursday 🤷‍♀️

OPKs are unreliable around period time because they test positive for pregnancy and when your period is coming. I think this is due to the similarity in molecule structure of the hormones. Get a FRER and test in a couple of days!

Yes think I'm going to hang off and test with a frer in a couple of days. Keep thinking I can see shadows on the ic tests but most likely my eyes are playing tricks!
