Cervical mucus

Hi guys I'm new to this :) Approaching my 2nd month trying to conceive. My period has just ended yesterday, went to the toilet today and I had clear slippery mucus. Does anyone have an info on if this is normal. Surely my fertility window hasnt started the day after my period ends? X

@wannabebump they are never regular they range from 31days to 35. My gp thinks I have PCOS due to have scans to prove it and symptoms however my hormones at the time were normal. So I've never been properly diagnosed.
