Help with this test

I have taken this test which appears to have two lines, however, it is also pink on both the control and test panel so does this mean it didn’t work? Thanks for any help

Have you just taken it? Come back in 5 mins and the pink background usually fades x

Thanks it has faded now and the line is barely visible I just wondered if the test had been affected to stay pink like it was for so long

I see the line on both tests. For a clearer result test in the morning with FMU (first morning wee) or if you can stand to, leave it another 24 hours which should hopefully yield an even clearer result when HCG is higher.

Thank you that’s super helpful. I have totally irregular periods and don’t know when or if I even ovulated so was shocked to see two lines! I will get another test and see what happens in the morning

I used these tests and mine did that pink thing at first, mine ended up being a bfp, re test to make sure though xx

Just tested again and only got one line :( so must have been something wrong with the first test. Thanks for all of your help

How many dpo are you?

I’m not sure as my periods are very irregular (sometimes go three months without one). I have been using the Flo app they suggest ovulation would have been 04.11.19. Sorry that’s probably not terribly helpful!

Since your periods are irregular I would hang on a couple of days and test again. It could be just that it’s to early to pick up on the test, especially if you’ve ovulated later than expected.

It’s so frustrating especially when you want a bfp. Are you having any symptoms?

Thank you. The only symptom I have is very tender beasts but this is also a symptom of periods for me as well so it’s very difficult to know! I will try and hold off until Friday just in case and keep my fingers crossed!
