TTC but no sign of AF after coming off the pill

Hi Everyone, I'm new to Mumsnet waves
I've been lurking for quite a while but thought it was time to post after reading quite a few different posts but not really finding anyone in a similar situation to me (which wasn’t from 2015).

Originally me and my partner were going to wait to start trying until our house move was complete (still waiting) but due to Pill supply issues, I came off a lot earlier and am now actively trying.
I had been on Loestrin for many many years but due to the shortage of this brand I was switched to Levest earlier this year. I went on it and completed a packet and waited for my break week & found that the migraines were unbearable and so we decided not to continue using the pill and start trying sooner that we originally thought.

I had my last break week period (when I had the migraines) on 19th July and haven't experienced anything resembling a period since.

The only strange thing that did happen is after doing the BD there was a bit of bleeding - something that has never occured before. This was about a month ago now.

We have been active quite a fair bit just in case there was any chance of ovulation but having taken a test - only BFN’s for me.

It has been around 124 days since my break week period and no sign of AF.

I’m just wondering how much longer I should wait before going to the GP.....

Hi @Roxystar23 welcome Smile
I also had issues with periods ( still slightly do) when coming off contraception last year. The doctor said to wait 3-6 months before an appointment if your periods have stopped. They gave my provera which essentially tries to kick start things and get your body into a Natural rhythm so they may give you this! Hope this helps xx

Hi @ForeverHopeful67 - Thank you very much for replying. Glad to hear that there is hope for me yet. My partner keeps telling me not to worry but it's hard. Everytime I get a slight stomach twinge I get excited but usually I then realise it's actually because I haven't eaten and it's hunger pains. X
