I've always had a period every 29 days. Like absolute clockwork. I'm trying for a baby after ectopic in the summer and saw some good reviews for pregnacare. They also have a statement on the box stating that some women have reported their periods have been messed up due to taking this product. I thought that must be nonsense as none of the ingredients contain hormones however I started using this product 4 days before my period and on day it was meant to start it was nowhere to be seen. At all. I am getting all the associated cramps and sore breasts that u get with a period but no period. Has anyone else experienced this? Surely if so many women are reporting this then there is something amiss with the product?

Sort of stating the obvious but could you be pregnant? I had period like symptoms before both my positives. Good luck.

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 18/11/2019 22:24

Sorry just seen your other post. Might be too early? Have you tried using a First Response?

Snowflake9 · 18/11/2019 22:24

Have you done a pregnancy test if your AF is late ?

Snowflake9 · 18/11/2019 22:26

Apologies, just saw the other post.

You may have ovulated late this cycle, it can happen.

I wouldn't say that 4 days before AF was due would have been a long enough time for the vitamins to take any effect on your period.

Wait another week and if nonAF, test again.

Thanks all. Did a Clearblue digital test it said I wasn't pregnant. I'm reading all sorts of horror stories on the internet about people not getting their periods for up to 90 days after taking these and now I'm worried about my chances of conception. Am due yesterday surely Clearblue would test positive if I was pregnant as it apparently tests up to 5 days early

You’ve only been using it four days? Yeah it’s nothing to do with the pregnacare.

Doubl · 18/11/2019 22:38

I took these when we started TTC in September. Usually have a 28/29 day cycle with presumed ovulation around day 14/15. The first cycle of taking these I ovulated around day 19/20 and got a BFP 11dpo.
Can't be 100% they did or didn't assist conception but they did lengthen my cycle which made OPK's frustrating.

Banoffeepie91 · 18/11/2019 22:53

Yep, I took it on my last cycle and it delayed AF. Got so stressed because I was taking tests and BFN but AF was nowhere to be seen. Stopped taking it and a few days later AF turned up. Not sure if this was a coincidence or not. Safe to say going nowhere near the stuff anymore!

@Banana1984 don't stop taking it, I got pregnant on this. Helped with my irregular cycles after the pill.
I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant after taking these ❤️ good luck xxx

Banana1984 · 19/11/2019 00:01

Congratulations @MrsSokhi

@Banana1984 thank you, got it on my second cycle trying after taking them, please don't stop taking them. Try and find the case study on google it's been proven it helps you get pregnant xx

Chefwifelife · 19/11/2019 05:20

@Banana1984 listen to what your body is telling you. The reason why there are mixed reviews is because we are all different. When I got pregnant with my little boy I wasn't taking these. This time round they have made me feel very unwell. Turned my wee bright yellow. Made me constipated.I also had an EMC but it's very unlikely the vitamins were involved. The cycle after EMC I ov on day 11! For one good story you will find a bad one. For me personally, they're not a good fit.
