Fertility app or ovulation strips?

Hi everyone - currently using a free fertility app to TTC but not sure how accurate it is. Has anyone had any luck conceiving using these apps alone? Also, can anyone suggest which ovulation strips to use and how do they work? Thanks 😊

Hey, haven’t conceived yet but hoping this is my month 🤞 I use Ovia app and opk sticks

I’ve tried the cheap opk sticks from amazon (couple of quid) and the tescos ones (7 for £10 I think). The Tesco sticks give a much clearer result although I have had a positive one on the cheapy ones once. The glow app also enables you to scan an opk test so quite helpful.

Opk sticks detect an LH surge which is what is supposed to happen before you ovulate. Depending on which sticks you get the Instructions say within 24-48 hours or 12-24 but I’m sure I ovulated on the same day as my positive test this month as I had really bad cramping... it confuses me tbh. Still learning as on cycle #2!
