Has anyone tried NAC supplements? Did you have any negative side affects?

I've been looking at supplements for pcos and this kept coming up as a good supplements to try but couldn't see many experiences on here.

There have been some very positive studies for NAC and ovarian cysts - I think the one that I read showed marked improvement in endometrial cysts. Another one to look into is inositol IP6, I'm pretty sure there's positive studies about its effects on ovaries for pcos.

I don't have endo or pcos, but I did have recurring & persistent cysts for a couple of years (in peri meno), and I do believe these supplements helped; I started taking them after I'd had one cyst removed and one drained. Subsequent cysts were monitored thereafter but they resolved fairly quickly and didn't become large. I also took yarrow (actually still take this and NAC - I use the Jarrow timed release ones). Definitely worth a try! Good luck x
