Is it possible to have sex six days before period is due, Miss period & Have a Clear positive test the day of missed period? Or would that person would have been pregnant before that?

Pregnancy tests detect HCG, a hormone that your body doesn’t start producing until implantation occurs, and it usually takes 2-3 days to get to detectable levels. Implantation is between 5&15 days after sex, usually around 10.

So 6 days sounds pretty unlikely to me - implantation would have to be 5 days after sex (possible, but at the shortest end of likely), and a positive test only one day after implantation is also unlikely.

So I’d say possible but very unlikely. Was it a very faint positive? If a strong positive then I’d say not possible at all.

If this is a “who’s the father” situation, my money is on the other guy.
Paternity testing is possible 7 weeks after conception (considered 9 weeks pregnant because date is from last period), but I bet it’s not cheap and there is a risk of miscarriage.
