I found out i had a mmc November 1st, i was 16 weeks but the baby was measuring 14+5. I got admitted into hospital that Monday (4th) I have a check up in 6 weeks (dec 11) and my doctor said after that we are free to start trying again. My bleeding has stopped and now I’m inching to start trying again. Time has been dragginggg and i have 4 more weeks to go 😩 my days off i keep busy and i try not to think much about it but i can’t help myself! Anyone if you ladies gotten impatient waiting for the green light?

I didn't have a mmc but I had an ectopic, and we tried the next month and along came our little girl. However it was my tube not my uterus that was affected. Have they said why you need to wait? Id listen to their advice incase your uterus needs a month to recover. You want to make sure it's in tip top shape :)

Also, although it was amazing being pregnant again it was also quite hard going through so many huge emotional upheavals in such a short time added to crazy hormones

He didn’t give me a reason he just said wait 6 weeks for my check up. That’ my guess, to make sure everything goes back to normal before trying again. I have a 5 yr old son, that pregnancy i had no issues. I was pregnant with a little girl, hoping we get blessed with another one. I’ll wait the 6 weeks just hope time goes by faster ☺️

Big hugs... you could always phone up and ask for advice? They might just say it to give you some breathing space to get your head together and take the pressure off you? I know for me I wanted to try again straight away but not everyone is ready to. At least there is Christmas coming up- it's a distraction at least. I bet your little boy is excited! Hopefully the new year will bring good luck too xx

Hello, sorry to hear of your MMC.

I also had one that was confirmed end of September, although we knew on the 13th September. I had surgical management on 1st October.. consultant said to wait until my first period then go straight away.

Tbh, I didn't wait and just went with it, but AF arrived on 2nd November anyway, so back to my regular cycle now.

It is very hard to not try again straight away!

x

@Harperd89 so sorry for your loss 🌻
I was supposed to be 6 weeks today ( last week still got all BFP daily), but line was not getting darker, few days ago ultrasound showed empty uterus... I am still waiting for my bleeding to finally arrive... Keen to start all over again too ❤️
