Hi, I had a chemical pregnancy last month. We started trying again and I have today had a positive pregnancy test. I am so worried that what happend last month will happen again. I tried so hard not to test early but I could not help it! My period isnt due until Sunday/ Monday and I can feel a dull lower back ache and this is how my miscarriage started last time, although that was accompanied by really sore boobs which I do not have this time. Has anyone else had lower back ache this early on?

Hi, I'm 11dpo took a test this morning and bfp! My period is due Saturday and a few days ago I had lower back pain too, it seems to have worn off now though. I had a chemical pregnancy a few years ago so I'm praying this is not the case this time! Have you had any other symptoms yet?

Jessicaaa · 14/11/2019 15:42

@ChocolateChop Congratualtions on your BFP! That is good news that yours has now worn off! Mine only started yesterday but it is so hard not to worry. I havent really had any other symptoms as of yet. Last month before I had a chemical pregnancy I had abdominal cramps & sore boobs - neither of that this time around yet though! Have you?

@Jessicaaa thank you. Congratulations to you too! No I haven't had anything else yet. Will this be your first? I have a ds who will be 4 next month.
I'm trying not to get too excited, fingers crossed for both of us. Unfortunately this is the problem with testing so early but I just couldn't help myself lol

Hi @jessicaaa

I'm in the same position it's really horrible isn't it! I was wondering did you use opks I've always had complete stark negatives before but since the CP they've been a bit less obvious, I think I ovulate 7 days ago and have been getting slight cramps and bloating, what was your symptoms this time and were they diff to Cp? Xx

Jessicaaa · 15/11/2019 09:26

@ChocolateChop Yes this will be my first! I am trying not to get too excited either. Backache has slighly died down a little this morning so keeping my fingers crossed. I could not help myslef with testing early either x

@AnxiousAnnie86 Hi! Yes I did use opks this time around. The first time I did not. I thought they werent working for me either at first. The one I think was my positive (and adds up with my BFP) was just about the same colour as the control line, never gone one darker. Ive had bad bloating the past few days, but seems to have subsided a little & backache. Last time I had backache which then turned into cramps all around my pelvis area & tops of thighs and sore boobs. This time though I have just had slight backache, no sore boobs as of yet. Hoping it doesnt turn into cramping again! Am supposidly due on my period Sunday/ Monday so we will see xx

Jessicaaa · 22/11/2019 15:18

@AnxiousAnnie86 Hi. Yes, was 11 DPO when I got a positive - it was very faint though - almost unoticeable! I did another test this morning and it much stronger (am now 19 DPO) - I've made it further than last time so thats made me a little less anxoius! :) Fingers crossed you get your BFP soon!
