In August I had a chemical pregnancy confirmed by bloods on 16th August. I then got a faint bfp on a frer on 21st Sept but began bleeding on 22nd, the bleed lasted around 3-4 days and wasn't overly heavy like my normal period is. I still felt sick but was convinced I had another chemical but didn't get bloods done as I had just lost my Dad and was all over the place. On 3rd Oct I did a boots own test and got a faint bfp which I posted on here. Another lady then had a similar line to mine on that test and neg frer and it made me doubt the line was true so I did a clear blue on 21st October and got a bfp. So how likely is it that I was still pregnant in September or is it more likely that I'm only just over 7 weeks if I use 22nd Sept as LMP? I'm waiting to hear from midwife to book in but I'm looking at booking an early private scan for reassurance due to previous miscarriage.

I will attach tests done on 3rd and 21st Oct

Firstly congratulations!
I'm not entirely sure but i would go from the September dates as could have been implantation bleeding

I would do another test to see if it's darker. Then book with the midwife and as pp say they might use the date in October. The test appear as faint and then positive so I would doubt you conceived earlier than your bleeding in September.

Obviously then only a scan will date you well, but around 12 weeks.

Is hard to tell as spotting and bleeding can have all sorts of causes. Any scan you have will give an estimated age of the little bean though. I had a few private ones as well as early nhs ones for a few reasons and found them very helpful for peace of mind, but once you go for the 12 week one they use that as your due date regardless x
