We’re you as lucky subsequent times?

Currently just starting 2ww trying for my 3rd.

I’ve been pregnant 3 times (1 miscarriage) and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant first try all times. First pregnancy I was 22, second (miscarriage) and 3rd I was 34.

This time I am 40.

Just pondering my chances of getting lucky again given that I am older this time.

Any one been extremely lucky 4 times?

So far not as lucky 2nd time... trying since MarchSad

FriedasCarLoad · 11/11/2019 02:53

Oh and my first baby is 1 year old, and I’m 40.

Rickandportly · 11/11/2019 03:07

I’m doubting I’ll be as lucky again - I keep reading stats about age (grr!) Good luck to you, I hope you aren’t waiting too much longer xx

Yes, including when I was 39. Conceived 5 times, always within first two months of trying. Hope it works out quickly for you this time too.

Paythosebitchesnomind269 · 11/11/2019 03:27

Yes, 38 and 23w with second pregnancy. First month trying only dtd once - incredibly lucky.

FridalovesDiego · 11/11/2019 03:28

Yes. Every time. I was in my 20s though. Although it was the same for my mum (who was in her 30s) and my sister (40s)

beibikeiks · 11/11/2019 07:56

My first one was a complete surprise after the first time having sex with my bf (now husband) so conceived pretty easily 😂

But this time it's taking forever and loads of complications (4 years and counting)

I was 22 the first time and now I'm 31

57Varieties · 11/11/2019 08:00

1st time was first month aged 32, second time was second month aged 34.

DailyFailAreTwats · 11/11/2019 08:02

Only one DD, but it was the first month of trying when I was 39. Good luck!

MsChatterbox · 11/11/2019 08:19

Unfortunately not. The second time took 6 months. I didn't have to do anything special for first baby. Second I had to do opks and use fertility lube!

MsChatterbox · 11/11/2019 08:20

First I was 24 second I am 26.

PurrBox · 11/11/2019 08:29

All 3 were very quick and easy to conceive. I was 29, 31, and 35.

PastaSauceHoarder · 11/11/2019 09:09

My first daughter was a lovely surprise baby, it was the one time we got carried away and didn't use a condom - I was 21 at the time.

When we decided we wanted to TTC a second child I was 22 and we fell pregnant a month after I stopped breastfeeding (so started trying late November and caught late December). Sadly lost that one to Turners Syndrome at 12 weeks.

Only three weeks after my induced miscarriage for the second pregnancy (a week after the bleeding stopped) I fell pregnant for the third time - I'm 23 and currently 31+2 weeks with another little girl. Smile

So we've been very lucky in regards to getting pregnant quickly, I do hope its not just age-related because we'd very much like a third baby in our 30s.

Jurassiclover · 11/11/2019 09:54

I'm just following this cause I'm back TTC following a MC in which I fell pregnant in the first month of TTC. Also wondering if I will fall as easy this time, I'm hoping I will because me and DP are keen to get things moving and I think it would help us heal massively. But also aware how messed up cycles can be after a MC so I guess we'll see! I usually have longer cycles between 39-42 days but not too sure exactly when I ovulate but I usually get cramps later on in my cycle so assume it's a bit later on, at least in the 20s of cycle days. However after my MC I've been getting cramps and EWCM despite only being about 2 weeks after the bleeding stopped so I'm hoping I'm ovulating already, have been DTD so keeping fingers crossed!

PastaSauceHoarder · 11/11/2019 10:13

Oops actually I was 20 when I fell pregnant with my daughter - 21 when I gave birth!

WhatHaveIFound · 11/11/2019 10:16

Yes, first baby at 33 years old, second at 36. Both conceived in the first month of trying.

holidays987 · 11/11/2019 10:30

Nope. First two pregnancies (1 ended at 18w) conceived first time. 3rd pregnancy took 13 months. Same partner, both 28 years old and in good health.
Baby will be arriving early 2020 all being well 😂

DorotheaHomeAlone · 11/11/2019 10:45

Yes, first time each time, aged 31, 33 and 36. Very lucky and very aware of how my very regular cycles work.

MontStMichel · 11/11/2019 10:50

Yes, nine times - although only two went to term!

highhopess · 11/11/2019 14:45

Pregnant first month, 3 times. 1st pregnancy I was 27 and 2nd & 3rd I was 30.
However miscarried second baby at 12 weeks.

TiggeryBear · 11/11/2019 14:49

Both DC conceived 1st month of trying with only 1 attempt 🙈 DP jokes he has "super sperm" 😳

Rickandportly · 11/11/2019 17:24

Well I guess it’s a wait and see game now! I’m lucky that I’ve never had to worry - I’m just hoping it’s the same this time. Good luck to others waiting too x

But then if I do fall pregnant, I’ll have the constant anxiety of a MMC again. It’s never easy, is it.
