Hi all,

I've recently been put on a superovulation protocol using letrozole. This is my first cycle.

I was in for a few scans and on the Fri (1st Nov) the nurse thought it unlikely that I would ovulate over the weekend and possibly not at all this cycle but to "try" anyway. We dtd once on the Mon night because, well let's face it scheduled sex can be a bit of a chore at the best of times, I also thought I wasn't ovulating yet as no cm and I also was afraid that when I went back on the Tues I'd be told I was about to ov and to get busy (idea is you get a trigger shot then and advised to dtd for next 3 days).

Anyway, long story short is when I went back for a final scan on the Tues, nurse told me I'd already ovulated. Probably 36 hrs previous so around Mon lunch time (We dtd Mon around 11pm and before that was Weds). She seemed to think we were still in with a chance and to try again that day which we did, but that would have been pointless really?

I'm a bit annoyed that they missed it, therefore I missed getting the trigger and optimal days to dtd. I suppose it was my first cycle and I am glad to know that I ovulated.

So - after all that - do you ladies think there's any hope for me this month?? I know a preg test will tell me soon but it's constantly on my mind.

Thanks for reading x

I would say you're definitely in with a chance!

Your Wednesday BD may still have been about and your monday night one would likely still be okay

I had CM and ov pains Thursday eve, hubby decided the next day he was ready so we dtd 24 hours after my O symptoms and I'm now 4+3

I have everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

Oh thanks so much Farmmum for replying and for your hopeful story! Those are the kind I'm looking for but also trying to keep my expectations in check a bit as well...here's hoping 🤞
