Hi all! I've been feeling a little off recently and I believe I am a few days late... (I have irregular periods). I took a boots early result pregnancy test today and there appears to be a very faint line, but I'm not sure if it is positive or an evaporation line? Can anyone help? Confused

Can you share a photo?

Lilred35 · 09/11/2019 21:45

I've tried adding a photo, but it doesn't give me an attachment option?

In my experience a line is a line. I had a very very faint line with my son. On the other hand, how long did it take for the line to appear? The instructions say to disregard the test after a certain amount of minutes

You need to follow the intructions. Read the test in the amount of time it says too, and discard after that. Doing this should get rid of any confusion about evap lines or not.

@Lilice, it came up within the 3 minutes and got stronger after 5 minutes Confused

If you're a few days late you'd be looking for a strong positive but as you say your periods are irregular...I'd try a digital then no guessing.

Lilice · 10/11/2019 19:39

Have you taken another test since? Maybe a digital one will give you a clear answer x
