conceiving after a chemical pregnancy

Hi folks, it's my first time posting here and I was hoping for a bit of wisdom/advice. I had my implant out late May, began TTC straight away and were very pleased if somewhat shocked to have a positive pregnancy test just over a month later. Unfortunately it was a chemical and I bled quite heavily about a week after my positive. I was devastated, but started trying straight away again. Since then I've had four cycles and nothing. I've been using an ovulation tracker and my periods are regular but no joy. And each month I just get more and more anxious about it all which doesn't help. Just wondered if anyone has gone through anything similar and has any pearls!

I have. Almost exactly.
Implant out. Positive straight away. Then chemical.
Overall we TTC for 9 months. First chemical in month 1. Then another a few months later and then DD stuck in the 9th cycle.

She was baby 3 so I don't know what changed. As we conceived DD1 on the first cycle and DS was conceived while using contraception.

Sorry I don't have a solution. I think a chemical is just one of those things. Keep going and hopefully you'll get your Sticky BfP soon.

Thanks for that! It's good to know that at least someone's had something similar and it ended well. This is our first time TTC so it's made me a bit worried. Thanks for your words of encouragement! X

Hi, I had a chemical last month. It's so disappointing! We had just decided to start ttc our last (#3.) So it was the first month after stopping the pill. I am however optimistic as this happened before conceiving #1 and funnily enough happened after one month without the coil. So I wonder if maybe it was too soon for me both times and the lining wasn't ready or something! (Googled way too much stuff also.)
Fingers crossed for you! It took about 9 months after my first chemical before I conceived #1. So fingers crossed xx
