Hello ladies,

I've been TTC for a year (first time) age 28. I have light pink to brown spotting a week before my period each cycle and always try to convince myself it's implantation bleed leading to disappointment. I wondered if others experienced this and whether they still had the spotting when they managed to conceive successfully? I had one chemical pregnancy, with no spotting until I had my full period arrive which suggested to me that moving fwd I should consider the spotting is most likely a sign I haven't been successful. I'd be interested to hear others experiences though and also whether something to potentially worry about? GP says no but I've seen other talk about low progesterone etc. Thanks in advance for your comments.

@gingerspaniel hi, not too much advice to give as I haven't experienced this myself but I have heard spotting after ov could be due to low progesterone, it might be worthwhile asking your GP to check your levels 7 days after you've ov'd, do you temp also? That could give you a bit of an idea if your progesterone is low if you aren't getting a big enough temp shift. Don't want to worry you unnecessarily tho, you might not! How long have your been TTC?
