Trying to conceive baby number 2.
I am ovulating now - just took a test to confirm it. I could feel it, so I was pretty sure I was.
Unfortunately, me and dh have just had a silly argument so we don't exactly feel like dtd now!
We did it yesterday, the day before yesterday and the day before that, so the day before, three days and four days before ovulation. Do we have a good chance of conception? Can anyone share any positive stories?
I will try and persuade him to have sex later, however it isn't much fun when it is so regulated!

Yes sperm lives inside you for a few days so still a good chance I’d say!

Thanks @stellarfox
Fingers crossed!

Definitely possible. With my second we were happily risking it before we were going to properly try for number 2. I was using opk's to see roughly what was happening in preparation for trying. We had sex 3 days before I got a positive opk & conceived our little girl.

@Jsh125 great news, very encouraging! I don't usually use the testing strips because when we were ttc our first, I only got one positive, so I was worried something was wrong. We just chilled out and it happened fairly quickly.
I tested this time because I couldn't fail to notice the ovulation pain. At worst, at least I know I am ovulating.
I've read if you have sex a few days before ovulation you have more chance of a girl.
I have a baby boy, and I am honestly not bothered about the sex of number two, but it is an interesting theory.

Yeah I've heard that too about a girl. It worked for us, not that we were specifically trying for a girl. With our first we were actively trying & therefore having sex on ovulation day & we have a boy. It's probably the only 'method' of baby being a boy or girl that actually makes scientific sense!!
