Cycle length

Hi everyone.

I'm TTC first baby for a long 15 months, came off my pill after around 12 years 😫 however only been tracking since January. I have had all tests done at the doctors and they all came back fine, same for DH (other than morphology but apparently that isn't an issue with his high count).

Since January my cycles have been different lengths;, 24 the shortest and 48 the longest.

Jan- 27 days (ovulated day 16)
Feb- 36 days (ovulated day 22)
Mar - 43 days (ovulated day 29)
May - 29 days ( ovulated day 17)
Jun - 48 days (ovulated day 33)
Jul - 24 days (ovulated day 12)
Aug - 37 days ( ovulated day 24)
Sep- 29 days ( ovulated day 17)
Oct- (currently on day 16 and just got my flashing smiley)

I am wondering if the fact my cycles are constantly different makes a difference? I'm using my bbt and can see a clear shift in temp so I know I am ovulating and blood tests have also confirmed this (annoyingly I had them on the normal cycle lengths!

Anyone else similar to this or have any idea if it's an issue?

Thanks xxx

Hey!
I am in a similar position to you. Had my last injection 17 months ago and cycles returned in august. Had a chemical with 1st cycle and they have been so erratic. My previous cycle was 41 days but I am currently on day 52 of the next cycle! No signs of AF and tests all negative. It is driving me insane x

@Sarah5678 hi Sarah, thanks for replying. It's bloody awful isn't it! This is my first month using clear blue advanced opks and I've just got a smiley face this morning on day 16 so I'm chuffed it looks like I'm going to have another normal 30 day cycle this month.

I'm wondering if it's taken my body a full year to get back into a natural cycle, and maybe yours is the same?

Have you been taking any vitamins or anything? Do you have any children already? How old are you? I'm 30 and trying for number 1.

Also are you temping?

Xxx

I was using opks but felt like it was putting a lot of stress on us and everything was a bit forced so I decided to give them a break this month. Regretting it a little now as I have no idea if I have even ovulated yet!

No we are trying for our 1st and I am 28. I have been thinking the same thing...maybe it is just going to take a bit time for them to regulate! X
