Best OPK’s?

Hi all, first post! ☺️

I’m super new to this whole TTC game. I was on Microgynon for 13 years so I have no idea what a ‘normal’ cycle is, this is my first one off it. I’m thinking of using ovulation sticks to try and make sense of my cycle so was wondering what ones you all use?

Thanks lovelies 😘

One Step from Amazon. Anything else gets expensive as you will likely go through quite a few as you start learning about your cycle (my guess would be 7-10 a month to start with).

I'd say get the clear blue digital ones, the ones with the flashing smiley and static smiley. I hate the cheaper ones, results are all over the place Smile

I could bang on for Britain about this but do not buy anything that’s not Clearblue.

The expense is worth it.

I fucked about with cheapy OPKs for months and months - two shots with the Clearblue that showed a static smiley when my OPKs showed nothing meant I was pregnant within weeks.

@AdultFishcakes I am so with you on this. Absolutely hate the cheap ones, too much room for interpretation and they send me mad!

Getting the static each month is well worth the money xx

I have used cheapy OPKs for years, and they helped me get pregnant four times. My cycles are all over the place so I wouldn't be able to identify my fertile period without them. However you can get dodgy batches. I always go for Wondfo branded ones now - a bit more expensive than One Step, but more reliable and still cheap.

Having said all that, I used the Clearblue Advanced digital tests for the first time this month as I decided it would be good to have more warning before ovulation. It was great to identify four days of 'high fertility' before peak fertility. Very pricey but cheaper on Amazon than in shops. Good luck! x

Thanks for your help ladies! I have ordered some One Step ones on Amazon just to give me a rough idea, then I’ll probably confirm with Clear Blue. Thank you 😘
