Really late but with a negative?

Hello :) I am currently going through tests to see if I have PCOS or not. My cycles tend to be irregular however I never go past 44 days. I’m on day 58 at the moment. I have taken two tests which were negative a few days ago (just the cheap £1 freedom ones). I had bad cramping about a week and a half ago, which lasted several days, which I thought was my AF coming but it didn’t.

If I were pregnant, am I right in thinking there should 100% be a line by now?? Or is there still a chance? I don’t want to get my hopes up.

Do you use OPK? I ovulated 14 days ago (going by a day after a positive OPK) and ordinarily my period would arrive 12dpo but didn't. Taken a Wilkinson pregnancy test but negative. No sign of AF either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ guessing my body geared up to ovulate but didn't. I have longer cycles and today is cd39

@Mycrazylife85 typical - an hour after I posted this, AF turned up!! no I haven't been using OPK, I need to look into it as I'm unsure if I'm even ovulating at the moment. It's all so frustrating isn't it

@Pawsin That's good bit rubbish also. My test negative, bit still no AF as yet. Reckon I'll see what this week brings. I suspect I geared up to ovulate but didn't. This would be the first time I have got a positive on the OPK and not had a period after. Never mind i guess. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 and was on the pill for 17 years. Have the doctor booked in for 11th so we will see what they say then. Good luck! ☺️

I am on cd 49...I have pretty irregular periods but never had a cycle past 41 days. No signs of AF and all negative tests. So frustrating!

@Mycrazylife85 I have been before this cycle but gave it a rest it a rest this time because I found it was stressing me out but regret it a bit now because I don't know if I ovulated or not!

Just looking for advice on cd 57 24 days late on period, 5 BFN started on 3rd November with dark raspberry pink looking scanty discharge only when I wiped then it stopped. to a very light only when I wipe not soaking a pad possible period starting? It's very light pale red but not heavy at all like normal. I suffer with pcos and usually have dark brown/red period with lots of clots which usually I'll flood a tampon and a pad in two hours tops and there's nothing like that. Am I out or could this be an implantation bleed? Period history ... The last 6 month I have come on my period every 28 days for 5 days topswhich is extremely regular for me before that was every 5-6 weeks and lasted 10-14 days. So this is really bizzare from going on the last 6 month history. Any advice would be helpful x

If you've pcos I was advised opks wouldn't be reliable and temping would be more beneficial x

I think someones mentioned it above but I've read that opks arent reliable when you have pcos but tracking your temperature is

I'd heard that also but 12days after every positive OPK since May, I've had my period. Maybe only now I'm getting false positives (associated with pcos) who knows. ☺️

I'm in the same boat! Usually have a 34 day cycle, currently on day 40 and I've had a negative test 😭 good luck everyone

So an update - got the results from the docs, and I don't have PCOS i just have random irregular cycles for no apparent reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ relieved, but I had convinced myself I had it so very surprised.

Did anyone turn out to have their BFP? 🤞

That's good news @Pawsin. But also doesn't help the occasional long cycles.

Negatives for me. I'm CD 45. Went out last night following a negative FRER. It's a slow morning... 😂 doctors Monday for me anyhow so all being well I won't have come on by then

I wonder if you can help. I'm 8 days late on my period but tested negative 6 days late. I'm never ever late. Most I've ever been is 2 days late. My cycle is nearly always 28 days. I have sore boobs, stomach cramps and bloatedness/gas as well as creamy white CM that is a lot heavier than usual. Sometimes I go to the toilet thinking af has started but it is just cm.

Is it worth booking a doctor's appointment? Is it possible to be pregnant with a negative test even though I was 6 days late when I tested? Me and my husband stopped being careful last month so it is a possibility but I didnt think it would happen straight away, and now just worried something else is wrong with my body!
