Hi everyone. Newbie here, I’ve been silently stalking a lot of these threads for a couple of weeks and was determined I would never join or post as I wanted to get on with all of this on my own but now think that being able to talk to others in similar situations will help me
and as much as DH is on board with the baby making, I feel like I’m a bit alone in my every day symptom checking and ttc is always on my mind
I was on microgynon 30 for about 11 years, I went on it due to heavy periods aged 14 and I have no idea if my cycles were regular or not back then! I’ve been off it for about 6 and a half weeks now, finished my withdrawal bleed as normal on 28th sept and absolutely nothing since. I did a pregnancy test yesterday as was curious but BFN.
I’m clearly not in the ‘most women’ category, as NHS advice states ‘most’ will get a period 2-4wks after coming off the pill. I’m sorry my rambling doesn’t really have any direction but I think I’m just wondering if others have any tales of reassurance for me about conceiving after the pill?
I know I’m very early days but I’m worried about leading myself down an obsessive rabbit hole this early on. Patience is unfortunately something I’ve not been blessed with
Also struggling with the whole ‘so when are you going to have a baby?’ Over and over again since we were married earlier this year. I never knew how annoying and pressurising that question was until you’re actually TTC :-/
Xx
