Short luteal phase and implantation

Hello, I

I have a short luteal phase of 10 days. I take a b-50 complex but it doesn't seem to want to shift. I have fallen pregnant twice but the first was a CP and the second a MMC at 10 weeks. I've been trying for a year since MMC.

My GP dismissed this but if implantation normally happens at 6-12 dpo, is it not possible that sperm does meet egg etc etc but theres not time to implant before cycle starts up again??

Is that a reason it could be harder to conceive, as you'd have to catch those months where implantation happened to be nearer 6dpo?

Hi, I don't really know about the science behind it all... but I also have a LP of about 10 days. Have had one DC and one MMC at 9 weeks. Currently 5 weeks FX. I would reckon it all depends on a range of things, the way your body works (6-12 days is such a range), the sperm, timing etc... But the fact that you've become pregnant, including getting quite far along (sorry about your losses x) would lead me to think the LP is not too short...

I tried Vit B too but not much impact unfortunately :-(

I had this. Fertility dr told me stress plays a big part - and for me she might have been right. I stopped fertility treatment and am now 12 weeks into a natural pregnancy. I think you can take progesterone to help though?

I have a short luteal phase too.

When TTC it took 9 months and each month my luteal phase would be different, sometimes as short as 5 days, longest was 8. I was tracking using the ovusense and opks which showed when I ovulated.

I conceived in sept 2018, I ovulated on cycle day 25 and 8dpo I got my period (not implantation bleeding as my period lasted 4days). I felt light headed and just different. I even fainted one morning, so I took at pregnancy test 13dpo and got my BFP.

My DD is nearly 5 months. Just got my first period back post partum. I was hoping my body would have reset itself but I'm using opks and just had a 4 day luteal phase

Agnus castus can help lengthen a short literal phase, but 10 days is normal
