Hey guys,

For those of you who had a MC/Chemical and use OPKs how soon after your MC bleeding ended did you ovulate?

I was 6+1 when I miscarried and it's been 7 days since bleeding stopped and I've had a negative test, I've had cramps that are making me feel sort of like ovulation is looming but this seems far too soon?

Thanks guys

I had a chemical last month at 17dpo (I guess so early that my hcg didn’t get a chance to rise very much). I counted the day I started bleeding as day one of my cycle. I ovulated on day 22 (+opk on day 21) of that cycle and now am pregnant. Ovulation on day 21 is normal for me as I have a 35 day cycle.

How long is your cycle usually?

PracticallySpeaking · 01/11/2019 23:14

Forgot to say I bled for 4 days with the chemical

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through. I hope you are as ok as you can be and looking after yourself. Mother Nature can be cruel.
I had a mc at 11 weeks so I bled for about 2 weeks. I then had a negative hpt (to check all gone) and ovulated 2 weeks later.
Take care xx

Miscarriage at 8 weeks in June. I had a false surge 8days after my first day of bleeding was still abstaining at this point as I was still bleeding slightly so no sex, second surge which was ovulation 7 days later so just over two weeks since my miscarriage. I know I ovulated on my second surge as I got pregnant again. Sorry for your loss xx

@PracticallySpeaking sorry for your loss firstly, and my cycle varies around 39-42 days usually. I bled for around 5 days and I've also counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 just for tracking so I'm now on CD12 according to my app

@LouH1981 thank you ❤️ so sorry for your loss also, and I hope you're well!

I've heard a few people say 2 weeks so that seems to be average at the moment, I'm not sure why I have cramps at the min, not sure what my body is playing at haha

@Ginmonkey84 I'm sorry for your loss lovely.
From what I gather 2 weeks seems to be the norm so I think these cramps must not be related to ovulation as it's a bit too early.
I'm glad you were able to conceieve again! I hope all is going will with the pregnancy and that you have a sticky bean
