Just curious about how consistent people see their fertility being from one month to the next, and especially if that changed with age.
Background is, I used Clear Blue to conceive my first at 37 and had two high fertility days, followed by peak fertility in the first month of trying and success. At the time I also had consistent cycles. Now, having recently turned 40 we have decided to try for number 2, I have tried the Clear Blue tests again this month and am on day 6 of high fertility with no sign of peak. Wondered if this irregularity should be expected.
I also appreciate it is too soon to be making any judgements but what with my age, and success last time around, we have only given ourselves a few months to give this a shot and want to manage my expectations or think about additional help as soon as.
