I’m on holiday at the moment and only have one step tests with me. I’m 13/14dpo today, and the last couple of days I have thought I saw very faint lines. Today there is a bit of a stronger line but still very faint. Would you expect more of a line by now? Can anyone else even see if? This isn’t with fmu btw!

Can anyone see a line? I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but been trying for a year now with no luck so far!

I can see a line I would get a frer

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 29/10/2019 08:38

I would try again using FMU but I can see something. Hard to tell if it’s pink though.

Racoonworld · 29/10/2019 08:42

Annoyingly I can't get a FRER for almost a week as I'm on holiday and there isn't a pharmacy nearby. I'm definitely going to be doing a test with fmu tomorrow morning though!

If you're 13 or 14dpo you should really have an obvious positive result, at that stage of your cycle it doesn't matter if you're using fmu or not. I can see something faint, but I wouldn't say it was positive.

decbaby19 · 29/10/2019 08:49

I would defo say positive! I used these when I found out I was pregnant in March along with FRER to confirm - compared to FRER they are so faint. Mine gradually got darker but it took a couple of weeks for them to be a good dark line from memory (I got obsessed testing daily Blush). Congratulations! X

Plzbringmechocolate · 29/10/2019 11:13

I can see a line, congrats! But try using a First Response to confirm those strip tests can be wacky!
I took a test today as I’m 7 days late, it was very faint and I only initially saw it when I took it out the casing. It’s a blue dye Tesco’s own brand. I didn’t think an expensive test would be needed with how late I am! Also can I insert pictures on here?

Plzbringmechocolate · 29/10/2019 11:34

I can't post images as I'm a new user x

Racoonworld · 29/10/2019 21:31

Ok so this is this mornings test using fmu. I think the line is clearer? I am worried it’s a chemical though, been having some bad cramps like af is coming and a couple of spots of red when I wiped.

plzbringmechocolate have you tried with a different test? Maybe the one you tried isn’t sensitive enough?

OP posts:
kittycat01 · 29/10/2019 21:55

@Racoonworld that's definitely a positive! Mine looked like this at 14dpo and wasn't a clear positive until 16/17dpo on that brand of tests (I'm now currently 30 weeks). Congratulations and fingers crossed it's not a chemical

Racoonworld · 30/10/2019 10:15

Thanks! I'm really hoping it's not but so worried. I haven't had any more spotting but still have bad cramps. Does anyone know if this is normal or a symptom of a chemical?

OP posts:
Racoonworld · 30/10/2019 10:16

15 dpo now if that helps!

GruffalOH · 30/10/2019 10:18

I had bad cramping and really light lines on all tests until about a week after my period was due. Thought it signalled bad news, but still pregnant now at 12 weeks, so hopefully your tests are just weak, like mine :)

kittycat01 · 30/10/2019 10:56

I also had bad cramping in the first trimester!

Siobhan1989 · 30/10/2019 17:36

That look positive 😊 good luck x

sarahc336 · 30/10/2019 20:21

Cramps are really normal at the start, keep an eye on the bleeding though but if the bleeding has stopped and it's just cramps I'd say your fine Smile

Racoonworld · 30/10/2019 22:04

Thanks everyone, I feel a bit better reading your replies. I have taken the last test I have with me here! Similar to yesterday but can see link a bit clearer.

That's a positive. For sure

Jaynetheplane · 30/10/2019 22:45

Definitely positive, congratulations Flowers

Hjwk · 31/10/2019 08:23

I used these tests and that's what my result looked like. I now have a 2 year old :) good luck!

Racoonworld · 31/10/2019 18:02

Thanks all. I don’t honk it’s sunk in yet, still expecting af to turn up any minute even though I’m now 17dpo and over 4 weeks. Still getting bad cramps but no bleeding atm.

OP posts:
Bearspears · 31/10/2019 18:05

Congratulations! I remember being very worried about the cramps but they do subside. I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Racoonworld · 04/11/2019 07:12

Hi just to update everyone, I’m now home. Haven’t had a chance to get a digital test yet, but here is today’s, fmu, 19/20 dpo. Line is darker than 3 days ago when I last tested Smile
