Cpuld this be a Miscarriage?

Hi sorry about the info on this,
Today i passed a red and grey clot thing with veins in it and I'm worried it's a miscarriage, it was about the size of my thumb, I have been stupidly having unprotected sex for a while now and had the Mirena put in a couple of weeks ago, I know you can't tell me the answer but is there any way to know for definite? Apart from doctors which I will be going to tomorrow.

Based on the description, yes it could be. If you were pregnant it usually takes a number of days (or weeks depending how far you were) for the hormones to leave your body so it might be worth doing a pregnancy test - if you were pregnant or mostly still show a faint positive today which would fade to nothing in time. Unfortunately sounds just like my two MC's. Hold your wee with no liquid intake for 4-6 hours then take a test. If there's a line, call your doctor

What do I do if it's negative?

If it's negative there isn't much you can do. The clot may be your body's reaction to the coil?

Ok, so do you think it warrants a call to doctors ?

How long exactly have you had the coil and how long does it take to start working and protect you?

Hiya sorry for late reply, It was part of a healing site from my womb after having a biopsy a few weeks ago, I have an infection ao on antibiotics. Thanks for all your help xx
