@Ellsbells112 I have heard loads of different things. Some say every other day, some say as much as you can. Really whatever suits you.

Hi everyone!

Can I join?? We are (casually) starting to try once my period arrives! I have 35 dayish cycles but last period was a shocker 80 days due to stress as work 😭 so praying it turns up on Halloween!

Been on the folic acid a while but want to try and cut out/down caffeine? I read it's meant to help but I'm a good 4-5 cups a day kinda gal!

@Ellsbells112 I dtd everyday during my fertile window. Morning and evening. I know they say sperm lives for 5 days but this varies per person. So didn't want to take the chance. Also I read using soaps and fem fresh down there kills sperm so I stopped using during that time.

@Skygirl1983 preseed is just lube that doesn't kill sperm right? Or am I missing something lol

@shhsecret oh wow 80 days is long! I hope your cycles are back to normal soon Smile Yeah caffeine isn't good for fertility, maybe try to reduce it to 2 per day. Start slowly..

@mellymoo86 okay cool, I dtd last month every day during fw and the month before only twice. I think I'll dtd every day why not! Yeah preseed is just a sperm friendly lube :)

@mellymoo86 yeah sort of, it's supposed to mimic the fertile cm during your fertile week and aid the sperm in its travels. Some womens cm doesn't do enough but not that you would know about it. It just makes the whole environment a bit more favourable for conception.

@Ellsbells112 this is cycle 3 officially ttc but not used contraception for around a year now. I got married recently and ready to give it a good go. But we are a little bit older. I'm 36 and he is 37 so not easy!

@Skygirl1983 Ohhh I see, I'll be shoving that stuff up myself everyday lol. I can't believe I used to think making a baby was romantic. 😂 like candle light, romantic music, everything goes in slow mo lol. More like...no do it like this it's supposed to be better, do you want a pillow under you...hurry up it's coming out...ahhhh!!

Haha Haha!! Wait until you read the instructions on how to use it!! They reccomend using the syringe, maybe as part of your foreplay! So romantic! I dont talk about the logistics of it with my hubby anymore as I think it puts him off!! I just do more of what he likes during fertile week (if you know what I mean) 😂😂

@Skygirl1983 I know exactly what you mean. I'm like give it here! Lol. Normally I'm lazy. Hubby most likely likes this time tbh, he gets more action, lol. Right after the fertile window I was like ok done, now you can go away lol.

My hubby struggles with finishing urghhh so fw I'll pull out all the stops to try and get the time down!! 🤣🤣🤣 let's hope theres not much more of this to go ay! Haha

@Skygirl1983 haha tell me about it. My hubby is pretty quick and can go numerous times which is good because I'm normally thinking about dinner or things I need to do during the day so quicker the better lol.

I wish my hubby was quick!! He has a lot of stamina! I think in the whole 5 years of us being together we have had about 3 quickies! He enjoys 'making love' 😂

AF just showed her ugly Face so I’m starting cycle 4. Dreams of announcing a pregnancy Xmas eve have been dashed and I’m in a grump.

New plan - not testing until I’m on CD 31! Have used all my IC prego tests up this month and I’m not ordering anymore. Now need to think of ways to keep myself busy this month 😆

It is!! I'm hoping for a BFP!! That would be the best birthday present. Failing that I have asked for Matalan vouchers and have booked the day off on the Monday for retail therapy!!
