If I had my last period the 7th of March but doctors are telling me my conception date is 4th of April, when did I get pregnant because I’m worried about the baby going over over due. The baby is now measuring up with my dates I’m 31 weeks pregnant they say but baby is size of 34 weeks almost

It should be dated from the first day of your last period. I know they can put dates back or forward in scans but the time between those two dates are a big long. I would express your concerns at your next appointment just to be sure but don’t be worrying too much, if anything you will go yourself earlier than expected.

How long are your cycles normally? Early dating is usually based on a regular 28 day cycle and at the conception/ovulation you are already said to be two weeks pregnant. Once you started having your scans your dates would have been adjusted according to the measurements of your baby.

When I conceived my first, my cycle was 50 days long. When I gave the date of my last period they said I was 3 weeks further along than I actually was. At the 12 week scan they said I was actually only measuring around 9 weeks which is exactly what I thought and my due date was readjusted.
