So confused with opks - help!!!

I’ve been having a flashy smiley since yesterday, I’ve also been doing cheapy opks which haven’t yet been positive, but darker yesterday, I just done a cheapy opk and it’s getting lighter?? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hey if the line was darker on the cheapie and now it's getting lighter it sounds like ovulation occurred when it was at its darkest? Xx

Well if I keep getting a smiley then what?? Had another smiley last night and opk still not that dark, could be a dodgy batch? I’m sure I’d of picked up ovulation by now!

@Sunflower2019 I missed my static smily on my CB. Ran out of sticks. Got a positive on a Internet cheapy. Few hours later got some more CB sticks and it was still just flashing. I think my FMU with the CB didn't pick up the surge and then it had gone by the evening. Xx

@Sunflower2019 I had 6 days of flashing smiley before my static, also tested with cheap OPKs in the afternoon and they fluctuated between light and darker before I finally got my positive on the 6th night of testing! It's a bit of a minefield.. I'd say keep testing as you might not have got your surge yet

I used cheapie sticks. Tested at 2 pm and 10 pm between days 10 +14 of 28 day cycle and always caught a + on day 12... Conceived at 42!!

I done a cheapy opk and it’s definitely darker again this morning..
Flashing smiley again though so that’s confusing.. maybe I’ll hold pee for 4 hours and try this afternoon.
