Hi ladies,

I have been on the pill for as long as i can remember.

I took my last one approx 2 weeks ago and didn't start new pack as DH and I are hoping to conceive.

I've noticed the last couple of days, a large increase of cervical mucus which I've not had before. It's clearish and sticky, like egg whites. Is this normal?

Does this mean I'm at my fertile period?

Sorry for TMI

Your hormones are all over the place when you stop taking the pill - particularly if you've been on it for a very long time.

If you want a better idea of fertile periods etc it'd be better to wait a couple of months to see when your period arrives - but you can still TTC by simply having sex, just don't think too clinically into it.

Thank you.

I feel like I'm learning my body all over again!
