Ovulation after MC

Hey did anyone track their ovulation with OPKS after a MC? I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks around 12 days ago now and we're TTC and I'm tracking ovulation. Just wondering if anyone got dark lines on the OPK tests? I've had a faint line tonight so shows something is happening but good to hear others stories xxx

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of October and since about a week later have been tracking with OPK's, faint line everyday sometimes darker than others but no strong positive as of yet, I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after mc started and still had a faint positive but 2 days later it was completely negative. I'm unsure as to whether my ovulation will be delayed due to still having HCG in my system or I may not ovulate at all this month. We are hoping to conceive quickly again like we did with DC1 and baby we sadly miscarried but so unsure of when is the right time to DTD so have had to just try every other day just incase! Wishing you all the luck TTC and hope you get a sticky one when the time comes

Should say I'm now on Cd20 if first day of MC counts as day Cd1. Have read lots of conflicting information about ovulation being delayed until HCG leaves your system but not very hopeful that TTC will be successful for us this month.

Hey @mumof1babe your story is so similar to mine. I got a negative test pretty soon after I finished bleeding, think it was a few days after and just a BFN, lines are getting only slightly darker on the ovulation sticks, we're trying every other night and we'll see what happens. Thanks for replying, let me know how you get on. I'm hoping to catch again quite quickly xxxx

I've got everything crossed for you that you fall again quickly and it's a sticky one! Such a horrible thing to go through, I hope you and your DP are coping as well as can be expected! I will keep you updated, hope to hear an update from you too! I'd seen the midwife the day my mc started so I have plenty healthy start vitamins, hoping these and trying every other day will be enough for us to fall again quickly, the waiting is just so difficult isn't it xxx

It is just a waiting game and I'm impatient I just want to fast forward! My OPKS are getting darker, only slightly but I think it's a good sign, looking forward to the weekend and exactly when I've ovulated as I can start the TWW then xxx

Totally understand I'm the exact same, patience is not my strong point! Hope they continue to get darker for you and this is your month! Trying so hard to not think about it all too much but so hard when it is all you want! Sending lots of baby dust to you xxx

Hey @AliSxo sorry to hear your news. I also had an EMC at 5 weeks last cycle. Weirdly I ov on cd 11 after the EMC (normally ov cd 17). Hugs for you xx

I had a MMC / D&C on 8th October and have been DTD every other night since the bleeding stopped. Been using opks and have had 6 days of flashing smiley faces but no positive LH surge so unsure if I've ovulated or not. Tbh the flashing faces are starting to really get on my wick so I think I'm going to stop using this month. Have had quite a few ovulation symptoms, sore boobs, headaches so hoping it's happened I just missed it. Hate the thought of having to wait 2 weeks or more to know 😣

Hey @Chefwifelife @Mystie @mumof1babe thanks for all your advice, it seems that MC either means you ovulate earlier or later than normal, my OPKS are much much darker today so I think I'll class this as my day of ovulation unless they're even darker tomorrow which I can't see happening.
