I got so excited to see a faint line, but I’ve spooked myself by ready about evaporation lines!

I’m 4 days away from my next cycle, really hoping this is a positive result

Exciting! I was getting no lines for ages even though I had a few symptoms. Convinced myself I wasn't pregnant. Then started getting positive ovulation tests and decided to try a pregnancy test just in case. Found out fridaybwe are pregnant. Line was quite strong and if says 2-3 weeks on the fancy test! So wait and keep trying.

@peetieswie I’ve taken two more tests this morning and there is no mistaking it. The faint line was from a cheap test, which I tried again this morning and although faint line but I’ve also done a clear blue and it’s crystal clear!
I’ve cried for an hour!
If I could figure out how to share the photo with this I would :)

Argh, congratulations! So pleased for you. How long were you trying for? I feel very lucky and shocked, I'd come off the mini pill a few weeks before and hadn't even had a period yet. Means I've got no idea when I ovulated though. Also very aware could all go wrong though but enjoying being pregnant.

@peetieswie we’ve been trying for 11 months, I know it’s not that long in the grand scheme of things but the tears over these tests have been very different to the tears over every other test.

Wow, congratulations. That’s quite common so your GP/Midwife will be able to pin it for you.
Is this your first time?

Yep, first pregnancy, first month trying. Really expected to struggle as so many of my friends have had ivf of took over a year. I am sort of expecting it to go wrong as seems too good to be true and expected some difficulties, so keeping my fingers crossed. Now I'm worried about booking a first doctors appointment as I'm a teacher and I'm on holiday in half term so I don't know how I'm going to explain an appointment outside of holidays! 11 months seems like a long time to me so you must be over the moon!
