PCOS?!

Confused.
Had a ultrasound 3 weeks ago after a miscarriage to reveal PCO (I saw the ultrasound which showed the classic string of pearls!)
made a lot of sense as I have ALL the symptoms.
Arranged a ultrasound to double check (I was ovulating during this second ultrasound!) and she said my ovaries looked ok. I was in agony during the ultrasound and that evening excruciating pain along with the feeling something burst.
Next morning pain had gone completely.
Confused 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cysts can be painful and burst.

I have pics and have pain and bleeding at ovulation, lots of pain just after conception.

Took us nearly 2 years to conceive.

I guess the main question is can pco go and come back as in seen at the 1st scan not the 2nd?

My cysts came and went!

I too had an ultrasound, saw lots of cysts. Explained to me that I probably had PCO or PCOS. My blood tests came back normal so they rules PCOS out. Got pregnant and had a miscarriage and got told the cysts had cleared up and ovaries looked normal! However, I've been experiencing more pain and some irregular cycles since my MC in March so have been referred back to specialist for another scan to see what's going on. My doctor thinks they ruled out PCOS too early (totally agree with this!) so I just have to sit tight and wait till my scan on November now.

I feel as if we have had trouble conceiving but when you look at our situation on a whole I don't think we have. We fell pregnant the first time after 10 months and have been trying again since, so I'm not sure what effect it's all had on the odds of me conceiving.

Really feel for you as I know that the pain can be horrible! If you are ever overly worried about pain, take yourself straight to the doctors to get checked out- you can never be too careful! Hope you get sorted soon x
