Beware of Tesco own brand pregnancy test!

I took a pregnancy test 6 dpo and got a thin blue line within the reaction time. I then took a test 8 dpo and it was negative.
After reading about it, it appears that the first test was just an evaporation line, the tell-tell signs are the line is very skinny and it is off-centred.
The point I am trying to make is be very cautious if you do get these as can be so heart breaking for women when they find out they actually arent pregnant!! I always thought evaporation lines happened after the reaction time and the line would be a grey colour, not blue like mine within minutes of me poas!
I am due on my period today so if I dont come on by Monday I will test again but I am 99.9% sure I am not pregnant!
I have attached the evaporation line pregnancy test picture so you can see what I mean.

I can definitely see a line there OP so you never know but aren't these tests meant to be used from the day of your missed period?
6 and 8dpo is very early to use this type of test.
I used these this cycle after missed period and they were very accurate.

You're using the test way too early.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

6 dpo or 16, doesnt change the fact that it looks positive!!
